Description

This Assistant Finance Business Partner role will be assisting with the following duties with the aim of taking ownership of these tasks over time;

• Financial Analysis and reporting
• Month end management accounts production with ownership of the PnL
• Assisting on the formation of business cases
• Business partnering with project focused team
• Cost management, analysis and reduction
• Commentary on variances
• Data analysis
• Project Accounting
• Manage communication with the International Shared service centre who carry out all transactional and tax duties of this UK division

Profile

The right commercial focused Assistant Finance Business Partner will need to have the following experience, characteristics and attitude;

• Commencing your ACCA, CIMA or ACA studies (IDEALLY PART QUALIFIED)
• A background of at least 6 months in a commercially focused finance position with 18+months in accounting/finance overall
• Strong accounting principles experience knowledge
• Proactive and with a high level of commercial acumen
• Willing and capable of learning with a track record of doing so having achieved academic success to date
• Strong excel capability including pivot tables and vlookups as a minimum
