For our client - an international company currently we are looking for candidates for the position of:

Main responsibilities

• Calculation (when applicable) and booking of general ledger entries (provisions, accruals and other journal entries)
• Preparation and execution of period end closing, including group reporting
• Balance sheet reconciliation
• Fixed assets booking and reporting
• Preparation of data required by external provider to complete VAT reporting
• Issuing and booking of the intercompany invoices
• Ensuring intercompany balance reconciliations
• Reviewing supplier invoices in IPA
• Booking business trip reports
• Processing payments and booking bank statements
• Ensuring appropriate storage of all scanned accounting documents as required by statutory law
• Maintaining excellent customer relationships through effective and timely communication in the event of queries or disputes
• Other ad-hoc tasks as delegated by the manager

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferably in Accounting or Finance
• 2-5 experience in general ledger accounting
• Computer literacy – Excel, Word and other large enterprise systems advantageous (e.g. IFS, SAP, Oracle etc.)
• Excellent communication skills and cultural awareness
• Very good English skills required, written and verbal. Additional European language(s) skills will be advantageous
