Accounts Senior

This role of Accounts Senior is based with a progressively minded independent firm of accountants in Derby. If you enjoy working closely with OMB and SME clients providing an extensive range of non-audit services, then this role would be ideal for you.

You will have the opportunity to be involved in a comprehensive variety of work across a wide client sector spectrum.

The role offers a combination of financial accounts production, management reporting, tax affairs and ad hoc projects. In line with working for a firm well-known to provide their staff a valuable work-life balance, you will have the opportunity to work from home when you may need to do so.

Main Responsibilities for this role include:

• Acting as a first point of contact to clients advising on accounting and business topics.
• Financial accounts production.
• Management accounts production.
• Ad hoc reporting for clients.
• Personal taxation, corporate taxation and VAT returns.
• Acting as a senior member of the team – scheduling and performing day to day work.
• Coaching and mentoring junior staff members and trainees.
