The analyst will work with members of Capital Adequacy, Management Reporting, Planning, and Analysis, Risk Management, and other corporate and business unit representatives to support its quarterly capital adequacy assessment and annual Capital Planning processes.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and maintain the reports and data around the annual Capital Plan and quarterly capital adequacy assessments provided to senior management and the boardMonitor the conceptual design, assumptions, and performance of qualitative projection methodologies utilized for capital adequacy assessmentsCoordinate and participate in regular meetings with management; assessing and addressing issues to identify and implement improvements toward efficient operations
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS 3-6 years of relevant experience in database management, management reporting and analysis, and other relevant functional areas Strong data management skillsExposure in financial services industry is a plusDegree in business management, finance, economics, statistics, or related fieldProficiency with Office 365 applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Access, OneDrive, and Teams; proficiency in business intelligence systems (e.g., Cognos, TM1, Hyperion, etc.) is a plusStrong analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate results and deal with ambiguous topicsStrong oral and written communication skillsHighly flexible and adaptable to change with the ability to manage multiple deliverables concurrentlySelf-motivated and intellectually curious with the ability to build relationships across diverse teams
