? Xero, MS Office experience mandatory
? Experience with Axcelerate system preferred but not
mandatory
? Experience in college's accounting and finance systems environment preferred but not mandatory
? Experience with regular account reporting
- Budget preparation, review monitoring
- Formulation, review and monitoring of accounting policies
- Financial statements and reports preparation for presentation to boards of directors, management, shareholders, and governing and statutory bodies
- Internal review and audits of financial records, preparing reports, briefing management on pertinent financial matters and deciding on action plan
- Monitoring and review of operating costs and organisations' income and expenditure
- Review and assurance about the accuracy of information contained in financial reports and their compliance with statutory requirements
- Review and preparation of financial and taxation advice on business structures, plans and operations as required
- Preparing taxation returns for organisation and related entities
- liaising with financial institutions and brokers to negotiate loans, interests and terms
- introducing and maintaining accounting systems, and advising on the selection and application of computer-based accounting systems as and when required
- maintaining internal control systems
- Overall appraisal of cash flow and financial risk management
- Being responsible and accountable for organisation and associated entities tax and compliance obligations
- Any other duties of General Accountant as per business needs
