Description

The Assistant Management Accountant will work in a close knit Finance team based on the outskirts of Oxford and be responsible for:

• Production of Monthly Management Accounts
• Production of Weekly and Monthly reports that provide key insights across sales, margin etc.
• Obtaining efficiencies and time-savings across month-end close process and reporting
• Working alongside other stakeholders to gain understanding of all Management reports and resolving any queries that might arise
• Supporting the Finance Manager with other ad-hoc duties as required

Profile

The Assistant Management Accountant will ideally have a relevant numerical degree and some proven work experience in a Finance role. Ideally with experience of management accounting or analysis. The individual will be:

• Study towards one of the Accounting qualifications (CIMA, ACCA, ACA).
• Have strong Excel skills
• Self-starter who can work under own initiative.
• Strong communication & interpersonal skills.
• Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
• Good planning and organisation skills: able to work to tight deadlines.

Job Offer

The Assistant Management Accountant can expect a salary of between £25,000 and £28,000 dependent upon previous experience.
