The Institutional Clients Group (ICG) Engineering and Architecture Practice (EAP) is a newly created organisation which focuses on ensuring architectural cohesion and delivering common, cross-functional capabilities for our Line of Business Technology organizations.
Our mission at ICG EAP is to focus on ensuring architectural cohesion and delivering common, cross-functional capabilities across ICG Technology This will be done by improving and upgrading our tools, streamlining our processes, automating and strengthening our controls, and helping development teams adopt modern ways of working.
Job Purpose:
This critical role will be within the ICG Architecture Governance function of the EAP. The successful candidate will be working across the global ICG organisation supporting over 3,000 application on the implementation and management of Citi Architecture policies.
This will involve working with senior leadership and their teams to ensure there is greater transparency around the current state and future state of our technology portfolio and identify any and all technology risks known / unknown.
This is both an exciting and challenging opportunity to join a growing team and help drive improvements to policy and efficiencies in process execution supporting technology teams across the globe.

Key Responsibilities: In this role, you will be handling the following (but not limited to) responsibilities:
- Partner closely with technology, controls and security teams
- Management and maintenance of enterprise wide technology portfolio and inventories.
- Supports the re-engineering of internal processes
- Conducts in-depth reviews with teams to ensure technology products are correctly represented in inventories
- Provides expert guidance to technology teams on product selection and Citi Architecture Policy
- Analyse application/technology state and trends through the production of management reports
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Knowledge / Experience
- Proven track record within a technology policy or controls discipline
- Knowledge of application development/lifecycle and/or technology product selection
- Can work independently, with an ability to multi-task
- Ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines
- Can produce compelling reports and metrics from complex data sources
- Proficient user of MS Office
Skills
- Creative problem solver comfortable with working in rapidly evolving landscape and uncertainty.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across diverse groups from senior stakeholders and clients to junior team members.
- Is curious and willing to challenge facts provided when in doubt
- Has a strong focus on risk and controls
