Senior Finance Manager

The Company

Our client is an ASX listed property business who is expanding its property footprint Australia wide with both residential and commercial developments in high growth areas. Locally the business now sees revenue of $50 million.

The Role

As the Senior Finance Manager, you will have full ownership of the finance function, responsible for a team of 8:

• Preparation of monthly consolidated financial management reports, for internal and external stakeholders
• Lead ASX reporting requirements and ASIC legislation
• Preparation of budget and cash flow forecasts yearly and reforecasts monthly
• Monthly management and trend reporting, including financial analysis
• Monthly tax preparation (BAS, payroll, FBT)
• Oversight of the audit process working with management and audit committee
• Drive upcoming ERP implementation
• Assist the CFO in driving business growth, building internal controls, and ensuring efficient finance systems
• Building relationships across the business with key internal and external stakeholders both locally and internationally

Your Profile

• CA/CPA qualified
• Business service or Big 4 experience desirable
• Experience within the property industry or listed funds
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal. You need to work closely with both financial and non-financial people and need to be heard
• Detail orientated - can pick trends, see things in a large data set. Analytical in the way you think.
• Ability to drive change, implement a process, or make a change to one. Show the ability to add value and impact.
• High performer, looking to own their role and develop their career
