The Role

This growing accountancy firm with stunning offices in Peterborough has a great reputation for being a friendly and supportive place to work and providing their staff with challenging and varied roles.

Your role will include the preparation of statutory accounts from start to finish, corporation and personal tax returns, VAT returns, and supervising junior members of staff.

You will also assist with managing a portfolio of clients from a wide range of sectors including hospitality, media and entertainment, property, manufacturing, technology, catering, retail and other interesting sectors.

Reporting directly to the partner, full training will be provided and you will be given every opportunity to learn new skills.

You will liaise with clients on a daily basis and have the opportunity to cross sell services to clients.

You will work in a friendly and growing team, and you can expect to work on an interesting array of high profile and growing clients from a wide range of sectors.

Job requirements

To be considered for this new role you must have at least 3 - 4 years of experience in a practice firm, and be looking to continue your career in a well-established and friendly office environment.

You must have experience of all the above duties, particularly statutory accounts and tax computations, in a mixed general practice role.

It is likely you will be ACCA qualified or be qualified by experience.

Experience of a wide range of software packages would be an advantage.

You must be well presented, be a team player, and be looking to progress to manager level at a rapid pace.
