As a Global Account Reconciliation Analyst you will responsible for ensuring accuracy of Baker Hughes accounts reconciliation metric derived from Blackline and coordination with relevant stakeholders to collect and build action items on unreconciled accounts and open items. Responsible for building continuous process improvements in Accounts reconciliation.

As an Analyst, you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring accounts reconciliation metric reporting is accurate as per Baker Hughes policy and process.
  • Coordinating across multiple teams to collect action items on unreconciled accounts and open items, present related analytics and schedule deep dive sessions to initiative outcomes.
  • Ensuring consistency of accounts reconciliation policy requirements across different process and engaging / lead projects as required.
  • Understanding and interpret applicable Enterprise Standards, SOP and Process Maps to deliver globally insistent financial process/accounting services.
  • Handling communication with colleagues and the business about design and coordination services rendered.
  • Handling Blackline admin tasks as delegated including assignments, reporting and ad hoc assignments as required.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university with at least 4 years of experience in Finance.
  • Have a minimum of 3 additional years of experience in Accounting Operations.
  • Have experience in Blackline accounts reconciliation tool and expert in MS Excel.
  • Able to adapt to work on macros, automation and process improvements.
  • Have good oral & written communication skills and good interpersonal & leadership skills.
  • Have lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact with ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously.
  • Have effective problem identification and solution skills.
  • Have proven analytical and organizational ability.
