Roessel Joy has partnered with a nationally recognized real estate developer based right in the heart of Boston, MA that is looking for a Senior Property Accountant. This is a great opportunity for an experienced property accountant to take over a portfolio of properties, as well as train the up and coming property accountants and accounting associates who will help support your portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelors degree in accounting and at least 5 years of relevant work experience.

The main responsibilities for the Senior Property Accountant are:

  • The financial management of your assigned properties
  • General Ledger Maintenance
  • Preparation of quarterly and semi-annual real estate tax
  • Working with the external auditors
  • Managing cash flows u200b
  • Training and mentoring other accountants on your team


Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in accounting or finance
  • Proficiency with Microsoft office suit
  • A working knowledge of Real Estate software
  • 5+ years of related experience
  • The ability to be self-sufficient, but also work as part of a team
