Business Analyst-Communication Management


As a member of Oracle's Financial Services Product Development organization, you'll work in a multidisciplinary team to develop and deliver leading edge SaaS solutions for the global marketplace. You'll be working on our next generation cloud-native platform currently under development.

Our Development approach is based on a DevOps-centric mindset, combining software development with operations expertise to shorten the development life cycle while delivering features, fixes, and updates frequently, in close alignment with business objectives.

We employ Agile methodologies, lean development practices, design thinking and we encourage and foster an open, collaborative workplace.


As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for turning vision into clear requirements and specifications for our next generation cloud native Financial Services solution.

You will work with the Product Manager to build the Service's vision into business requirements, technical requirements and functional specifications. You will work with technical leads, developers, sales engineers and other cross-department to ensure the realization of the Service's vision.

To land this job you will demonstrate expertise in the following areas:
  • The ability to turn broad conceptual ideas into logical categories of functional scope
  • Create detailed use cases using industry standard techniques including diagramming
  • Domain driven design principles
  • Ability to describe complex business functionality to technical staff and product stakeholders in clear and understandable terms
  • Exceptional conceptual thinking and analytical skills
  • Clear business writing, oral, and presentation skills
  • Detail oriented and able to deliver highly accurate results
  • Work in global team environments across multiple time zones

Exceptional candidates will demonstrate one or more of the following.
  • Industry knowledge of Customer Communication Management (CCM), Customer Experience (Cx) or Omni-channel Communications
  • Industry experience in a communication intensive area of banking, financial services, or insurance operations such as claims management, onboarding, etc.
  • Cloud native architecture for Software as a Service and related technologies such as REST, Mobile First Design and Responsive User Interfaces

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

Work as part of a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.

As a member of the product development division, you will define product specifications and or strategy. Gather and analyze information to define product specifications and review design specifications. Communicate product strategy and functionality. Initiate and foster relationships with other groups. Review product documentation and collateral. Ensure successful product releases based on corporate priorities.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.
