Senior Accountant

David Aplin Group, one of Canada's Best Managed Companies, has partnered with a Winnipeg-based boutique public-practice firm to recruit for a Senior Accountant. Our client is a friendly and progressive firm that has a keen interest in work life-balance and is looking for their next Senior Accountant to join their team!

The Role:

• Prepare a notice to reader documents and review engagements
• Complete tax files for both corporate and personal clients
• Auditing of tax files
• Work directly with personal and corporate clients

The Ideal Candidate:

• Completed Accounting designation (CPA, CMA, CGA, or CA)
• Proven full-cycle accounting application
• Strong knowledge of QuickBooks and Sage 50
• Ability to multi-task and work under deadlines
• Strong organization, attention to detail, and well-rounded communication skills; both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently but with a team-minded attitude, be a self-starter, and take ownership
