About the Role
As the Senior Business Analyst (Energy, Sustainability & Facilities Services) you will provide strategic insight and financial stewardship to assist the business in yielding sustainability targets as well as supporting other key service areas within Woolworths Facilities Management.

Key responsibilities:
  • Business Partner with the Energy & Sustainability team within Woolworths Facilities Management (WFM) to provide strategic insight and financial stewardship on the many different initiatives to yield the Company's sustainability targets.
  • Actively help support the Energy & Sustainability team with Energy Steering Committee meetings to ensure appropriate governance and financial frameworks to ensure that ongoing initiatives are governance effectively e.g., Progressive purchasing
  • Overarching appreciation for industry wide changes in energy, sustainability, waste, recycling and the interface and touchpoints within a property / supermarket / retail / facilities management environment to provide thought leadership.
  • Able to navigate the balance between financial and sustainability objectives.
  • Business Partner with the Asset Services Team with WFM to support other service areas, including business case development and analysis to provide key insights that will enable the development and refinement of WFM's strategy.
  • Drive financial accountability and understanding with business partners, aligning spend to the company's strategy and budgets.
  • Manage month end, budgeting and forecast process for Energy and other WFM Service areas within your area of responsibility and provide key insights to performance variations and provide recommendations for corrective action.


About You
You are an established business partnering Senior Business Finance Analyst with a background in Energy, with strong financial & commercial acumen who is looking to take on a new exciting challenge to work within an agile & high-performing culture.

You enjoy being at the front of your business partners & provide them with strategic insight and financial stewardship on many different options to meet the company's sustainability targets whilst still being able to navigate the balance between financial and sustainability objectives.

Passionate about data analysis, driving company performance and are able to make the complex simple. Like your team, you share an appreciation for new sustainable technologies and facilities management best practices and how these might shape the future of the customer, store and team.
