Chartered Accountant

As a qualified Chartered Accountant, with at least three years' experience, you will ensure we continue to deliver compliant, consistent services of the highest standard to a diverse range of clients. You will be part of an energetic cross-functional team of specialists that develop strong and enduring relationships with existing and new clients and an intimate understanding of their needs.

Responsibilities

• Completing financial statements, tax returns, activity statements and interim financial reports
• Presenting to clients and providing simple explanations of complex concepts
• Reviewing interim and annual reports
• Developing expertise in efficient tax strategies, preparing forecasts, reporting, and advice on business structures
• Supporting team training and mentoring (including transfer of technical skills and knowledge)

Skills + Experience

Essential

• Chartered Accountant
• 3+ years experience in public practice
• Experience in preparation of financial statements and tax returns for small to medium size enterprises
• Strong interpersonal communication skills

Desirable

• Experience or interest in working with primary producers and businesses based in regional areas
• Proficiency in Xero
