Finance Analyst | Fast Growth FMCG | £40K + Study Package | Remote
Harmonic are proud to be working alongside a fast-growth food business looking at onboarding their first Finance Analyst in an exciting new position.
This role has come around in response to continued month-on-month growth from our client which has been further intensified by the events of the past 11 months. Going forward this position will broaden their finance function through commercial analysis and modelling and take their planning and forecasting to new heights.
In a growing good company, which has already raised over £3 million in investment this is a genuine opportunity to join a scaling business in a very dynamic and growing finance function. Working as part of an energetic team and reporting to a mentoring Finance Manager this is a rare opportunity to build out a Finance Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function.

Our client has over 50 members of staff in total who are incredibly passionate about the journey our client is on with the brand centering around sustainability and waste reduction incentives within their supply chain. The business has fantastic ethics which have been well noted and are pioneers in their own space.
In terms of the culture its unchanged since they were an early start-up so great hub for creative thinkers and new innovations - they are based out of stunning offices and will have an expectation in time to return to flexible working with team meetings still taking place in their offices.

The Role:
- Working with Finance Manager to collaborate on deliverables and KPIs within the business. Leasing across departments - sales, supply chain etc for commercial insights
- Analyse across departments on revenue and costings and presenting potential opportunities for growth and expansion
- Financial Modelling & Forecasting for budgets
- Variance across expenditure and 'work in progress' accounting skills for monthly budgets and ongoing projects
- Work across departments to find commercial opportunities for financial improvement or gain.
- Work closely with Business partners of budgets and forecasts reporting into the Finance Manager and Key stakeholders on a dotted line
What our client would like to see:
- Practical experience of FP&A / Commercial Finance piece within a growing business
- Advance Excel
- ACA / ACCA / Cima qualification started (can be part qualified / QBE) with a desire to continue to studying
- Strong Analysis skills
- Oversight on how to setup or integrate an FP&A function
What we would like to see:
- FMCG / Food / Beverage experience
- Great communication skills and evidence of reporting into senior stakeholders
- Highly motived and desire to work in fast-paced environment
