Your field of responsibility

We offer a challenging and demanding role in the Capital Management team within the CFO area of the Swiss Universal Bank which is responsible for the divisional and the Credit Suisse (Schweiz) AG legal entity capital management and planning. This role gives you the opportunity to closely collaborate with a broad client and stakeholder base across Credit Suisse Group incl. Front Organizations, Group Finance, Risk, Corporate Development, Financial Accounting, Treasury and Tax.

  • Analyzing regulatory frameworks and developments with focus on regulatory capital (e.g. upcoming Basel and FINMA regulations) and evaluating mitigating measures
  • Responsible for the development of capital plans for Credit Suisse (Schweiz) AG and conducting capital analyses including the preparation of presentations and proposals to senior management governance committees, ExB and BoD meetingsand for regulators
  • Driving cross-functional projects and ad-hoc tasks on Balance Sheet and Capital topics (e.g. assessing capital impacts of stress scenarios, developing mitigation actions for the Swiss Emergency and Recovery and Resolution Plan, teaching of front and risk organizations)
  • Possibility to gain profound insights in the regulatory Pillar 1 and Pillar 2 frameworks and to further develop and refine the integration into the capital management processes at a leading bank in Switzerland

    Your skills and experience

  • University degree or equivalent educational background in an analytical discipline, Master’s degree would be an advantage
  • Up to 4 years relevant professional experience, preferably within the financial industry and/or consulting/advisory firm
  • Excellent analytical and conceptual skills which allows you to rapidly pick up new concepts and frameworks
  • Result- and customer-oriented way of thinking paired with a precise working style and pleasure in working with figures
  • Ability to work as a committed team player across different areas and engage effectively with stakeholders
  • Advanced skills in MS-Office, particularly Excel and Power Point; further programming skills (e.g. SQL, Access, etc.) and/or experience in working with databases would be advantageous
  • Fluency in English, German is an asset
