Eltel Group Shared Services (GSS) is an in-house service unit within Eltel. It serves all of our businesses with focus on high quality and cost efficiency in order to significantly drive our overall operational performance. In GSS in Gdansk, we are performing operations within finance and travel & expenses processes for Eltel's appx. 6700 employees in five countries. Almost 100 dedicated and skilled employees are conducting numerous transactions every year, taking care of mutual success. 

Scope of responsibilities:

In Procure to Pay / Accounts Payable team you will maintain relationships with our vendors assuring that documentation is properly maintained from reception till payment. You will take ownership of invoices with cost allocation focus (processing and resolution, including intercompany) as well as payments and be key point of contact for our local suppliers. The daily duties will also cover performing month end closing activities (incl. GL/AP, GR/IR reconciliations) and vendor statement reconciliation.

You fit our helmet if you:

  • have a degree in finance, accounting, economy (preferably),
  • have experience in accounting (min.2 years), preferably within SSC/BPO environment,
  • know how to use MS Office, 
  • are proficient in using MS Excel,
  • speak good English,
  • speak well Norwegian (good knowledge of one of the following languages will be an advantage: Swedish, Danish, Finnish),
  • are a team player who feels well being part of the group,
  • have proactive and creative approach,
  • own your time and can handle your tasks timely and accurately and enjoy dynamic work conditions,
  • have strong problem solving, excellent follow up, analytical, negotiation and trouble-shooting skills,
  • are results-oriented,
  • can work independently
