Description

Joining as an Accounts and Audit Manager you will report directly to Partners and will be responsible for managing a very mixed range of clients, with service requirements across audit, accounts and other services. The role is likely to be split approximately 50/50 across audit and accounts, controlling and conducting the audit fieldwork for a diverse range of clients across large groups, subsidiaries of overseas operations, OMBs, charities and other clients, developing strong relationships clients. Alongside this, there will also be a significant number of smaller ltd company's and other clients, up to several million in turnover, on the largest of these, with more of an accounts, tax and varied, all round service requirement. Clients are varied across a wide spectrum of industries to include manufacturing, property, construction, tourism, leisure, charities and others. You will also manage and develop junior members of the team.There are excellent prospects for short/medium and longer term career progression for career focused individuals, looking to develop and progress their accountancy practice careers towards Associate/Director and Partner levels.

Profile

You will be a qualified ACA or ACCA Accounts and Audit Manager, with a background in practice, currently based locally to Plymouth, or looking to relocate to the region and seeking a role providing development potential and progression opportunities. You will have anything from up to 2 - 5 years or more post qualified practice experience in audit and accounts across a range of industries and turnovers and a background with any of Top Tier, Top Tier, medium/large independent or smaller firm environment. You will be seeking a career move with a clear progression path on offer and opportunity where you can achieve your career goals.

£38,000 - £48,000 dependent on experience and background, negotiable, plus benefits
