Part of the Greater China leadership team, this individual will play a critical role in driving the success and strategy of important Asian markets. The Greater China Region is made up of China, Hong Kong and Taiwan with the China operations including 2 joint venture companies.

  • Support the Greater China markets and country with financial planning and analysis to drive the company¡¯s growth and support the strategic direction of the region.
  • Finance Business Partnership to the Greater China and International FP&A in the management of the regional P&L (top line growth, cost management, and operating margin expansion)
  • Manage the processes for operating and capital budgeting, and overseeing the preparation of financial reporting for local and Headquarter constituents
  • Coordinate with corporate tax on the tax strategy
  • Coordinate with corporate treasury on the cash management strategy
  • Leadership of contract/deal reviews to ensure commercial viability and proper revenue recognition accounting according to US GAAP
  • Strategic evaluation and financial leadership of inorganic initiatives
  • Direct responsibility for controllership activities in Hong Kong & Taiwan
  • Ownership of the preparation and enforcement of all formal finance policies & procedures to ensure compliance with US, and PRC policies and regulations, as well as implementation of Global practices
  • Analysis and identification of performance trends by JV, SBU, LOB/product line/customer
  • Propose and drive growth opportunities, as well as cost management improvements
  • Preparation and presentation of financial analyses /results to key constituents, including Global China leadership, corporate, and JV governance leadership
  • Leadership of a team ¨C setting clear direction & goals, measuring and reviewing performance in line with culture and methodology

  • Ability to work with and influence key stakeholders both internally & externally
  • Able to work in an ambiguous, matrix structured environment;
  • Ability to build relationships & collaborate with a geographically dispersed team
  • Strong people management skills
  • Fluent in Mandarin and English
  • Degree in Accounting, Economics or Business Administration
  • CPA certified
  • MBA preferred
  • Must be willing to travel
