Hours : Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm with one hour for lunch Reporting to : Senior Management Accountant Job purpose : To provide Management Information and analysis under direction of Management Accountant. The post holder will be required to work flexibly and conscientiously, in a rapidly developing office environment. Key Accountabilities: Assist in producing reports for use in monthly and quarterly KPI pack. Produce regular monthly client and operational activity reports, providing analysis and commentary on the output. Produce daily reports and reconciliations on cash received between various clients Prepare weekly and monthly reconciliations of cash received for various clients Provide analysis and input into annual budgeting process Deal with internal and external queries relating to specific clients Provide support to other departments with recording and interpreting of various charges and receipts to ensure transactions are reported accurately. Create and maintain manuals with regards to policies and procedures and keep them up to date. Provide ad-hoc reports and analysis as required. Skills required: Analysis skills: Ability to analyse large volumes of data to identify underlying trends and pick out key areas of variances. Working according to procedures : Able to perform role whilst adhering to specific company processes and procedures. Attention to detail: Be able to review large or complex datasets and accurately identify errors or discrepancies. Organisational skills : Able to prioritise workload and multitask in a high-volume environment. Able to manage own workload, keeping long- and medium-term goals in mind. Self-starter: Ability to work on own initiative and problem solve independently. Communication skills: Good written and verbal communication, with the ability to manage relationships with various stakeholders across the business Working with IT: Competent using Windows with good knowledge of MS Excel. Study: Ideally a CIMA or other professional accounting studier/beginner Experience: Preferably, a minimum of one-year exposure to working in a management accounts environment
