BJs offers a fast–paced, team environment with great training opportunities and competitive salary and benefits packages to help you succeed.AUDIT SPECIALIST (Junior Auditor) The Audit Specialist is responsible for independently and objectively assessing the reliability and integrity of the company's internal control environment to assist with maintaining and improving the efficiency and effectiveness of risk management and corporate governance. Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities Support Sarbanes–Oxley requirements, including testing of controls and other required components.Manage the completion of financial cycles from walkthroughs through testing and remediation.Coordinate with the external auditors to perform interim and year–end testing to support the financial statement audit.Assist with operational, financial and expense audits to assess the adequacy of internal controls, validate compliance with regulatory standards and identify opportunities to streamline operational processes.Interact and collaborate with management throughout the organization to understand the business, evaluate controls, manage risks and simplify processes.Conduct data analytical reviews utilizing ACL and Tableau to objectively evaluate, interpret, and visualize results and emerging trends and provide insight to assist with business decisions.Perform physical inventories at the clubs and perform operational audits at the distribution centers.Participate in cross–functional projects to evaluate the control environment and support business initiatives. Qualifications Coordination of multiple priorities in a fast paced dynamic environment.Ability to develop recommendations to strengthen controls and streamline processes.Strong verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail and excellent interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and in a team setting.Proficiency with data analysis tools, such as ACL and Tableau.Requires approximately 10% travel. Education Requirements Required Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or FinancePreferred Master's Degree MBA Years of Experience 2 years of auditing experience.Retail experience and familiarity with SAP is preferred.
