Assistant Management Accountant

Are you a part qualified management accountant looking to join a reputable manufacturing company in Leeds that really puts its employees at the heart of the business?

We are currently working with a thriving manufacturing business based in the Leeds area who have a rare opportunity for a driven and bubbly Part-Qualified Management Accountant to support and drive performance across all aspects of month end and management account preparation, as well as getting involved with Transactional Finance duties.

Duties & Responsibilities will include:

* Preparation of timely management reports
* Preparation of monthly reporting packs, variance analysis and commentary for review
* Preparation and posting of month-end journals, including accruals and prepayments and
providing commentary on variance with the previous year
* Balance sheet maintenance and reconciliations
* KPI reporting
* Transactional Finance duties including Sales Ledger, Credit Insurance and Payroll
* Assist with company-wide annual budgeting and monthly re-forecasting
* Undertake other related projects or duties as required

To be successful for this role you MUST have the following attributes:-

* Part Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA)
* Have previously worked at a small business
* Ideally come from a Manufacturing background
* Personality is key - you must be friendly, bubbly and driven
* Advanced Excel skills (including pivot tables, lookups etc.)
* Management Account experience ideally within a logistics or manufacturing company
* Be a highly motivated and focused individual who must be able and willing to roll up their sleeves and do day to day tasks i.e. payment runs, invoice customers
