About the Role

Perks are looking for a motivated and driven Graduate Accountant to join our collaborative, and supportive Business Services team providing a range of accounting solutions to our clients.

As a graduate, you will be provided with technical and professional training and development opportunities and support from Senior Staff and Directors to help you learn the responsibilities of the role.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare financial statements, tax and FBT returns
  • Prepare Business and Instalment Activity Statements
  • Prepare tax planning schedules
  • Prepare interim financial accounts
  • Prepare budgets and cash flows
  • Assist with the preparation of management reports
  • Draft correspondence to clients
  • Liaise with the ATO
  • Other ad hoc accounting, project & administration tasks as required

Skills and Experience

We are looking for individuals who are enthusiastic, motivated and bring the right attitude and a willingness to learn.

You will be in your final year of study or have recently completed a relevant undergraduate or post graduate degree that is CA eligible upon completion and bring the following skills, experience, and attributes to the role:
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to work with a wide range of people
  • Team player with the ability to work independently
  • Analytical/problem solving ability
  • Ability to multitask and effectively manage your time and workload
  • Demonstrated experience using the Microsoft Office suite
  • Commitment to personal and professional development
