Title: ERP Business Analyst

Reports to: Supply Chain & Finance Director

Function: Supply Chain & Finance

Location: Glasgow

Mission

We have commenced a significant project to enhance and improve our Trade Promotion Management capabilities and require a strong and experienced Business Analyst.

The Business Analyst will be fundamental to the success of the project and will play a hands-on role supporting the project manager in the successful selection and implementation of the chosen software solution to support Trade Promotion Management.

This is a perfect role for someone who has been in a similar Business Analyst role within a Business to Business (B2B) environment and can demonstrate experience implementing software solutions ideally in a SAP environment. Key Responsibilities The Business Analyst will work in partnership with the project team, key business stakeholders and third-party suppliers ensuring ongoing alignment with the project goals. You will build strong relationships with key stakeholders to clarify scope, elicit and manage requirements and work closely with a software vendor to support the iterative delivery of functionality.

• Engage with stakeholders to effectively elicit, document, and manage business requirements through whole project lifecycle.

• Modelling As-Is and To-Be business processes and identifying opportunities, risks, and impacts.

• Translate business requirements into technical requirements. • Collaborate with business functions to define and document user journeys,

processes, and business rules. • Identify improvement opportunities and ensure that processes are streamlined. • Liaise with 3rd party system providers to understand their solutions,

configuration options and internal process changes required to achieve maximum value.

• Work closely with the project team throughout system implementation and change, helping to ensure that solutions satisfy requirements.

• Help to create User Acceptance Test (UAT) Scripts and support the testing process.

• Support training and communication of system enhancements. • Contribute to the Business Analyst Practice through the creation and sharing of

knowledge, lessons learned, and best practices based on project experiences

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Knowledge

• Strong business analysis skills and ability to choose appropriate tools and techniques.

• Understanding of both Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies with ability to break down business needs into compelling user stories and with robust acceptance criteria.

• Ability to model business processes, user journeys and business rules. • Understanding of the full requirements lifecycle • Understanding of business data analytics concepts and data analytics lifecycle • Ability to write highly detailed Functional Requirement Specifications

Education

• ISEB or BCS certified Business Analyst • Educated to degree level

Experience

• Business Analysis experience, commensurate to this level of role ideally within global company

• Experience of working with SAP ERP • Experience of selecting a vendor via RFP process. • Working in an Agile and Waterfall teams • Excellent communication and people skills • Experience of working on projects involving data and system integration with third

party platforms and databases. • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail • Ability to take ownership of medium sized or incompletely defined tasks. • Experience in sales environment is preferred.
