- Requirement
1. Possess a recognized Degree in Accountancy and/or professional qualification such as MICDA, ACCA or other related discipline
2. At least 8-10 year (s) relevant working experience in a similar capacity, preferably relating to public listed companies
3. 3. Conversant with regulatory, statutory and management reporting.
4. 4. Strong integrity and ability to maintain confidentially
5. Good command of both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia
6. Strong understanding and experience with accounting, SST, corporate tax, treasury and cash management.
7. Pragmatic, hands-on, flexible and adaptable to change, continuously driven to challenge and improve
- Responsibilities
1. Responsible for the finance and accounting functions of the company and its subsidiary companies which include preparing of financial statements and management reports, tax matter, as well as supervise a team of support staff
2. Ensure timely preparation and submission of consolidated accounts, management accounts, quarterly financial reports and audited financial statements.
3. Ensure timely preparation and submission of actual and forecast cash flow report
4. Review tax compliances and submission of tax returns
5. Involve in financial planning and strategy via budgeting and forecasting
6. Liase with external auditors and professional advisors on for year-end audit
7. Understand and adhere to financial regulations and legislation
8. Track the company's financial status and performance to identify areas for potential improvement
