Accounting Administrator - Immediate Temporary to Hire Opportunity

David Aplin Group, one of Canada's Best Managed Companies, has partnered with our client to recruit for an Office Assistant for an immediate temporary to hire opportunity.

Our client, a leader in building materials, is looking to hire an Office Assistant for their rapidly growing head office. The role will focus primarily on office administration with a combination of accounting and invoicing. This position involves multitasking and has an opportunity to grow for the person with the right attitude.

The Role:

• Accounts payable and receivable
• Collecting on overdue accounts
• Invoicing customers in QuickBooks
• Entering invoices
• Data entry of payroll hours
• Opening files and managing employee benefits
• Reception including answering phones and greeting customers
• Assisting customers and suppliers
• Sorting and distributing mail

The Ideal Candidate:

• Two plus years of Office accounting / invoicing experience including
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with MS Office and experience with Quickbooks is an asset
• The ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced growing organization
• A desire to work hard and grow with an organization

The starting salary for this position is $35,000 to $45,000 depending on experience.
