We're keen to strengthen the team with those interested in joining us for the next stage of the journey.

Due to our continual growth, we are seeking a dedicated Project Accountant to join our team based locally to Roxby Downs, or FIFO from Adelaide, SA. Reporting to the Project Manager, we are seeking an individual to take the lead with all aspects of cost control over various projects with the ability to converse with key internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities
  • Prepare and review monthly reports including accruals, overhead, WIPs and forecast submissions
  • Allocate costs against correct cost codes and process account transfers
  • Reconcile end of month payments
  • Submit end of month figures to the site-based management team and head office
  • Invoicing, Debtors and CINB review
  • Budget preparation
  • Ensure compliance with commercial project/cost minimum standard procedures
  • Collaborate with Project Managers, Perth Corporate office and our Branch Manager to ensure business objectives are delivered

What you will bring
  • Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a similar position
  • Solid financial management skills including forecasting, analysis and reporting.
  • Business and financial analysis skills eg. cost tracking, analysing costs and interpreting data.
  • Good time management, multitasking and prioritisation skills
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships
  • Sound computer skills - MS Office Suite particularly Excel. Solid experience using financial management systems and databases eg JD Edwards, TM1 (preferable/advantageous)
  • A focus on providing outstanding customer service with a team orientated approach
  • Strong attention to detail
