This is an exciting Structured Finance Director role, sitting within the Corporate Banking division, of a leading global bank. As a Director you will be helping the banks Relationship Managers in the origination and execution of transactions, typically syndications - Real Estate and Diversified Industries.
The role:
• Proactively participate, in the formulation and implementation of strategies, business plans and budgets
• Support the Regional Head Global Structured Finance and the Head of Corporate & Institutional Banking in the development of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the purpose of performance monitoring and quality measurement of the Global Structured Finance Unit
• Manage all aspects of assigned transactions to maximise product potential and profitability
• Initiate maintain and deepen relationships with banks, financial sponsors and project sponsors
• Support the credit related decision process
• Assist the Clients on all of their queries in relation to the banks products
• Continually keep up to date with the financial market
• Acts as Primary Transaction Officer responsible for the structuring, credit processing, preparation, loan documentation, execution and distribution of assigned Global Structured Finance transactions
• Is primarily responsible for the preparation, review and execution, completion and execution of appropriate credit agreements, legal and security documents, and other supporting documents as required by law for the respective Global Structured Finance transaction
• Builds and maintains strong working relationships with other Departments and functions within the Bank
• Perform cross selling activities to enhance the relationships with the banks clients
Requirements:
• 10+ years Experience within Corporate Banking
• Strong origination and execution skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Knowledge of another language (French ideally) is desirable but not essential
• Advanced skills in financial analysis and financial modeling preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint
• Good team player
• Self motivated and hard working
• Strong analytical skills
• Understanding of relevant laws, regulations and practises relating to Corporate Banking products and services
• Leadership skills also desired
