A growing accountancy practice with an excellent reputation has a requirement for a Senior - (Year end accounts/Tax/Bookkeeping) to join their team. Based in the firms Weston Super Mare offices you will benefit developing within a firm environment that offers support, career and technical skill development as a key addition, working within an expanding group on wide ranging clients across varied sectors and turnovers.

Based in Weston-Super-Mare, Somerset this well established practice has developed a strong reputation for quality service, with a very wide ranging client based across Somerset, the wider UK and further afield. With around forty people and number of partners/directors, the overall set up has groups of staff working for the partners. However the teams work flexibly right across all groups as well in a team focused and collaborative environment. The firm has very wide ranging clients with around 20 audits or so- registered charities/academies and corporate clients, with a focus working with varied sole traders, partnerships and limited companies, up to around £10 million on OMBs, subsidiaries and other clients at the larger end. They are also developing their online services, expanding the Xero and cloud accounting offering across the firm and clients, embracing the changes and developments within the profession.

Description

Joining as a Senior - (Year end accounts/Tax/Bookkeeping) based in the firms Weston-Super-Mare offices, you will join a specific, close knit team of around 6 individuals, of varying levels of experience and seniority in the firm, as part of a wider team of accounting professionals and partners. You will prepare accounts, tax, bookkeeping, VAT and deliver on a further wide range of general practice services, to a mixed and varied client base of sole traders, partnerships and limited companies up to into the £millions of turnover. There will be definite scope for involvement in cloud accounting advice and increasing client exposure, working with manager and partners, assisting on planning and advisory projects as you progress in the firm, with scope to further your technical skills and develop your career, in a growing accountancy firm environment, with excellent support on offer to qualify through AAT/ACA/ACCA,ATT/CTA, with encouragement and backing to pursue areas of technical interest and progressing your career.

Profile

You will have a recent career background in the accounting profession, working for a small, medium or large independent accountancy firm/ Top 50/Mid Tier etc, with experience preparing accounts, tax and providing other, associated general practice services to sole traders, partnerships and limited companies, as an Accounts Assistant/Technician or Senior - (Year end accounts/Tax/Bookkeeping) . You may be pursuing, or hold, formal qualifications e.g. AAT or part ACCA, finalist etc, or have developed your career through experience to date only. Job Offer
