Description

This role would be 100% audit focused. You will be responsible for a portfolio of clients and need to ensure all work is completed in a satisfactory and timely manner.

Responsibilities include:

• Planning, execution and finalisation of all areas of the audit assignment and statutory reporting under FRS102
• Budgeting and monitoring progress against budget
• Producing work for the audit manager or partner review clearly highlighting issues and providing potential solutions
• Manage and coach a small team of Semi-Seniors assisting in audit assignments
• Direct communication with the client

Profile

The firm are looking for someone:

• ACA/ACCA Qualified, with 2-3 years' practice experience of which at least 1 year is leading audits
• Able to identify problems in the work they are undertaking and to communicate this to the person in charge of the work
• Knowledge of CCH Accounts and CCH Pro-Audit
• Good communicator as client liaison is important
• Able to work well as part of a team
• Able to understand and follow instructions given by senior members of staff/managers/directors
• Good audit knowledge including ares of current audit standards
• Able to lead audit unsupervised from planning through to completion

Job Offer

£200-£300 per day
