You will play an important role by providing assistance in various types of business transactions including optimising tax efficiencies and strategies, and maintaining compliance via a wide scope of tax advisory services.

Tax consultants are involved at the heart of transactions such as mergers and acquisitions, or the setting up of new operations abroad. You can choose to specialise in any of the following areas:

Corporate Tax (Compliance & Consulting)

Indirect Tax

International Tax Services

eTax Service

Transfer Pricing

Dispute Resolution

Capital Allowance

Worldtrade Management Services

Global Mobility Services

Accountancy

Payroll

Company Secretarial

Responsibilities

As an Associate, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping our clients in management of tax issues. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Proactively assist the team in various aspects of the project

Prepare deliverables

Contribute to the development of your own and team’s technical acumen

Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues

Ensure you are adhering to compliance matters

Work on developing internal relationships and your PwC brand

Requirements

Degree in any discipline and/or a professional accounting qualification such as the ICAEW / ACCA /MICPA-CAANZ / CPA Australia

Strong leadership, teamwork and client servicing skills

Strong communication skills in both oral and written English
