Job Description

Reporting to the Financial Controller and partnering with the Finance Managers you will ensure timely and accurate book-keeping of business transactions for all entities within Cushman & Wakefield Australia operations. This role has a National scope and involves supporting multiple service lines. As the Corporate Accountant, your role will be broad and varied. Your responsibilities will focus around the monthly, quarter and annual financial close process.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Accountant to progress their career in a US publicly listed business and gain exposure to IFRS and US GAAP accounting standards.

You will also have:

  • 1 - 2 years in accounting or internship experience as a recent graduate
  • Exposure/ experience with preparation of BAS statements
  • Exposure/ experience in completing the month end close process
  • An understanding of policy, procedures and local IFRS and US GAAP requirements
  • An understanding of SOX and some experience in external auditing
  • A degree in Business, Economics, Finance & Accounting, or equivalent
