Financial Accountant

As Financial Accountant you will work closely with the UK Financial Controller providing support with all financial activities within the UK and across the wider group. This is a broad role within a growing company, offering opportunities for progression.

Description

• Preparing financial reports to assess financial performance of the business
• Analysing financial information across the business and presenting findings to support profitability and growth through recommendations
• Production of Group consolidated accounts
• Producing company statutory accounts, making observations of the financial state of the business and providing recommendations
• Preparing month end and year end reports
• Cash flow management, re-modelling and forecasting
• Implement and driving efficiencies across the business and ensuring robust financial practices are in place and adhered to
• Drive system/process improvements where necessary
• Ad-hoc projects

Profile

- Hold a full, recognised accountancy qualification (ACA/ACCA)

- Practice trained looking for a first move into Industry

- Strong financial accounting/technical background

- Ability to be agile and adaptable and receptive to change

- Confident communicator and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the business

- Ambitious and shows a willingness to learn, develop and progress

- Strong IT skills including MS Excel

Job Offer

Salary £36-40,000 (depending on experience)
