A successful, well established Top 10 firm of chartered accountants based in North Kent/ SE London is searching for a highly experienced Audit & Accounts Manager to join their team as a key addition and pivotal support role to the Directors. Description

You will manage a portfolio of audit clients including charities, academies and corporate clients alongside the preparation of accounts and corporation tax computations/returns for limited companies. Ad hoc duties will arise in supporting the local partners as necessary. The main purpose of the role is to ensure compliance with GAAP and practical guidance is provided on regulatory matters such as tax and VAT regulations, requirements of UK law and the principles of good governance.

Profile

You will have strong experience of working within practice and have exposure to the essential elements of client service and delivery. You will ideally be working within a Managerial capacity already or aspiring to as part of your journey.

In order to enhance your own personal development, you will have the opportunity to lead, manage, motivate and coach other members of the team so supervisory experience would be a distinct advantage. You will be working with a great team of like-minded colleagues all focused on supporting each other to perform at their best.

You will be ACA/ACCA qualified, or equivalent with a career background and strength within audit/accounts etc, developed within an accountancy practice firm environment ranging from any of Top 4/ 10/ Mid Tier or regional independent firm background.

You will have developed your career to around the Audit Manager levels and be looking to take your career to the next level, within a firm and role where you can see a genuine clear progression and development path on offer.
