To provide finance support for decision making processes. Be the key link between the finance and operational teams to drive on-going performance improvements across the business.

Developing strong business relationships with the operational team along with the shared service centre, whilst playing an important role within the Finance team.

Client Details

We are working with a client based in the Warrington area who are within the transport industry. Due to business being in serious demand require an additional Finance Analyst to join their growing finance team, a very exciting time for the organisation.

Description

  • Development and production of business and customer KPI's
  • Review & support in the preparation for business improvement meetings ,providing analytical support and identifying cost saving opportunities
  • Create and develop operational reports as required
  • Complete all deliverables in a timely, efficient, and accurate manner
  • Apply analytical skills to ensure the accuracy and relevance of outputs needed by the business
  • Preparing variance analysis against performance targets

Profile

  • Understanding of financial control processes and functions
  • Strong accounting knowledge - Part qualified accountant with relevant experience
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel (v-lookups, sum-ifs, pivot tables etc.)
  • A self-starter who is motivated to work under own initiative when required demonstrating initiative and sound judgement
  • Ability to multitask; coordinating the delivery of multiple priorities in parallel across disparate teams and locations
