Job Purpose

Joining as Accounts & Audit Manager you will take responsibility for the provision of audit, accounting and general accountancy practice services to a wide ranging client base of sole traders, partnerships and limited companies, OMBs, SMEs, wide ranging in size and turnover.

The practice has a very wide ranging client industry range and size, from smaller sole traders, partnerships and limited companies, under the audit threshold in turnover, through to large corporates, with clients over the audit threshold in turnover.

The successful candidate will have a hands on role, along with managing the provision of audit, accounts, tax and added value services, across business planning, management reporting and other services to your clients. You will also work closely with partners in the firm, taking on increasing responsibility, client contact and delivering project work.

You will be able to demonstrate genuine desire to progress in the medium term, with associated career path and development on offer here.

The Successful Applicant

You will be ACA, ACCA qualified, with a career background within accountancy practice, around Manager level, looking to progress your career and join a firm providing genuine scope and progression potential, beyond manager level, in the medium term and longer term.
Your background will have been gained within any of small, medium, or large independent firm environment, and/or a mix of Top 50/Top 10 firm experience with varied client size exposure. You will be seeking a role and career move, with genuine potential to carve a career path and see a route to develop and progress, within a regional, leading firm of chartered accountants.

What's on Offer

Up to £60,000 upwards dependent on the background and experience of the right individual, plus benefits, negotiable.
