Asia FPA director

Will work closely with the local and regional management team in the overall accounting and reporting functions. This position functions as a key owner to the regional accounting management, reporting performance as well as the business planning. Further, as an assistant to Asia controller, will fully support Asia controller on overall management of Asia finance performance.

Description

§ Directs the preparation and dissemination of the related Asia reporting of financial results, forecasts, budgets and analysis. Adopting company-wide processes and initiatives where necessary.
§ Gathers, interprets, and evaluates financial information, including past financial data and short- to long-term financial forecasts.
§ Prepare monthly financial review package for executive team meeting and board review meeting.
§ Lead annual budgeting and planning process for the business/ function; administer and review all financial plans and budgets; monitor progress and changes and keep senior leadership team abreast of the organization's financial status.

Profile

Bachelor degree in Finance or Accounting, MBA/CPA is a plus.
Minimum 15 years of professional experience in a sizable company. Minimum 5 years' experience in leading and developing a team.
Proven track record of successful partnering with business as well as organization and problem solving; Experience of reporting under IFRS is required; Systems experience desirable (SAP etc.)
Strong accounting, reporting, and planning expertise.
Rigorously pursues practice in accounting and forecasting.
Proficiency in computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint)
