Management Accountant

My client a leading professional services business based in Warwickshire require the support of a skilled Management Accountant to support their accountancy team on a fixed term basis for between 9-12 months. The role has the potential of further extension and could progress to permanent.

They are now recruiting for a Management Accountant on an initial fixed term basis with the potential of this role becoming permanent.

Description

The Management Accountant role will involve:

• Key support for monthly reporting requirements of the business and provision of detailed management information.

• Provision of key business/commercial analysis supporting various stakeholders with specific financial insight

• Monthly reporting of key firm statistics

• Assisting in preparation of monthly management accounts working day

• Reporting variance analysis for prime overhead departments on a quarterly basis and understanding nature of variances.

• Financial reporting and business partnering

• Balance sheet management tasks aimed at improving the cash forecasting of the business;

Profile

To be successful in this role you will need strong Management Accounting exposure, with strong commercial focus and financial business partnering skills. Key understanding of accounting principles with an advanced Excel skill set. Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with various senior stakeholders
