Manager - Systems Assurance (VPSG5.2)

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Reporting directly to the Director, Data, Analytics and Systems Assurance You will play a leading role in:

• Helping to plan and execute the IT aspects of our audits of financial reports
• Enhancing audit teams and build a better understanding of the IT environment
• Improving audit teams reliance on system controls
• Providing subject matter expertise around IT general and application controls and inherent risks to specific systems
• Provide advice on trends and topical issues impacting the assurance industry

WHO YOU ARE

To succeed in this role, you will have:

• Five or more years experience working full time in the IT audit (external and/or internal) or IT consulting field
• Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Accounting or related fields
• CISA or similar relevant professional certification

Your drive to improve business processes, services and outcomes is founded on a people-centric view of work

While not essential, the following would be a bonus:

• Additional tertiary qualifications in Business, Accounting, or Commerce
• Familiarity with ERPs such as SAP, Oracle E-Business, People Soft and other systems used throughout the Victorian Public Sector
• Experience with audits of financial reports
• Current membership (or working to obtain) membership CAANZ or CPA Australia
