Our client is looking to recruit an interim accountant to assist them with year end, and the implementation of a new system

Client Details

Our client is a large business in the Not for Profit sector

Description

The role will entail but will not be exclusive to:

- Post year-end journal entries; ensure accurate upload onto Sage50

- Variance Analysis of Budget and Forecasts

- Preparation of the figures for budgeting and forecasting

- Accruals and prepayments

- Journals (including the payroll journals)

- Reconciliations

- Calculation of VAT

- Calculation of expenses

Profile

The successful candidate requires as a minimum:

- Professional accountancy qualification

- Experience working in a similar role in the charity sector

- Strong Excel skills

- Sage experience, ideally Sage 50 or Sage 200

Due to the urgent nature only immediately available candidates will be considered

This role will entail home working, however when restrictions are lifted candidates must be able to travel to the office in Glasgow
