Job Descriptions:
  • The Senior Manager provides financial management and support to the business, advancing overall financial goals and objectives.
  • He or she partners with various business teams in maximizing profits, improving decision-making, and ultimately driving financial transparency across the business. This leader must have strong financial management skills, communication skills, and have a hands-on approach in order to manage the business from a finance perspective.
  • The Senior Manager is responsible in overseeing all activities of junior managers and ensuring proper execution of functions.
  • The Senior Manager is tasked with managing budget processes, inclusive of periodic forecasting for the business and ensuring complete, accurate, and timely financial reporting, inclusive of balance sheet controls and financial information interpretation and control.
  • The Senior Manager is tasked with leading ad hoc financial analyses in order to assist management in the evaluation of the profitability of income streams as well as the potential for cost efficiencies. He or she further provides advice to other departments within the business on financially related issues.
  • He or she also liaises with the relevant stakeholders in creating financial plans and strategies that support the overall business objectives. In this collaboration he/she also creates, monitors, and measures financial metrics. The Senior Manager additionally compiles and presents weekly/monthly/quarterly finance results for the business's executive leaders, and stakeholders.
  • The Senior Manager takes responsibility for keeping the finance department abreast of changes in financial legislation regulations and ensures that all financial transaction across the business are in legal compliance. He/she additionally conducts research and identifies opportunities for the business considering the business's financial objectives, risk, and investment viability.
  • The Senior Manager additionally establishes accurate forecasting processes that enable the formulation of informed strategies and direction by departmental leadership.

Requirements:
  • Degree in Accountancy & Finance.
  • Professional Course like ACCA, CIMA and equivalent qualification is preferred.
  • Minimum of 10-12 years post qualifying experience in a large corporate preferably with diverse presence in Asia Pacific countries
  • Previous experience in a similar role that requires strong understanding of financial controls, accounting, reporting, and business partnering.
  • Overseeing the finance day to day operation and reporting in compliance with applicable accounting standards and procedure
  • Ensure the internal control are always up to date and sufficient
  • Supervise oversea subsidiaries accounting and finance function to ensure local law, regulation, SOP, accounting standard is adhered
  • Develop a strong financial control environment and provide meaningful financial information for decision making.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present financial information and analysis to various audiences in a manner that ensures their understanding
  • Experienced in phase-gate review processes for new product launches
  • High level literacy, numerical and problem-solving skills, including intermediate computer skills such as Microsoft Office Excel.
