Accountant

Description of Role:

We are currently looking for an Accountant for a busy accounts department liaising with all areas of the business;

Will be responsible for:

• Preparing year - end accounts and work with external auditors in the audit process
• Developing regular financial statements, preparing special projects and reporting of quarterly consolidated management accounts
• Administering & managing the payroll function and online banking
• Ensuring control and statutory compliance in the sector.
• Maintaining an effective & up to date reporting framework
• Monthly management of accounts
• Preparation of weekly bank reconciliations and cash flow
• Preparation of VAT reconciliations and payments on ROS
• Payroll Administration

Skill / Experience:

• A relevant third level or professional qualification; ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA or similar
• Knowledge of Autoview systems
• Minimum of three years of previous experience in a similar role.
• Proven experience in the preparation of financial statements, management accounting and audit
• Advanced IT skills as well as familiarity with recognised financial software packages including auto view software
• Payroll - knowledge of collsoft software.
• Monthly management of accounts
• Preparation of weekly bank reconciliations and cash flow
• Preparation of VAT reconciliations and payments on ROS
• Payroll Administration
