Title: Interim Financial Accountant
Salary: Hourly rate negotiable
OVERVIEW:
Are you an experienced Financial Accountant looking for an interim contract? Are you qualified/part qualified and have immediate availability or are available on short notice? We are recruiting for a client based in Hull who needs an accounting superstar for a temporary contract of approx. 8 months duration. Previous experience of financial and statutory accounting with some tax knowledge is desirable. A proactive and accurate approach essential. Currently the finance team are adopting a working practice of part home working and part in the office.
THE ROLE:
-Reporting into the Head of Finance this temporary contract will provide assistance with running payment runs to vendors, ensure transactions are processed to IFRS policies and balance sheet reconciliations at month end -Tax compliance, assist with internal and external audit processes -Preparation of statutory accounts, report and accounts for fixed assets and depreciation -A full job description is available
THE CANDIDATE:
-You are a qualified or part qualified accountant with immediate availability or available on short notice -Happy to work from home for some of the week during the current pandemic -Have strong systems experience particularly with Excel, be able to quickly build good working relationships and be a skilled communicator both verbally and in writing

Our client operates in the food manufacturing sector with offices and factory in Hull.
