Our client based in Luton is a major player in the Manufacturing and Production sector. Due to growth they are looking for someone capable of running their Accounts Payable team and oversee the full P2P process. The role will entail leading a diverse team across various locations.

Our Client in the Manufacturing and Production sector are looking for an Accounts Payable Manager to support their Senior Manager in Finance Operations. Based out of Luton they are focused on safeguarding critical capabilities and transformation in front line services.

Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Managing the performances of all team members.
• Auditing Expenses
• Posting of Journals and month end tasks
• Reviewing and Improving all UK P2P processes
• Monitor open Ap and review payments runs
• Research and resolve invoice issues
• Maintain Business confidentiality
• Management of an on site and off site AP team
• Ensuring valid, accurate and timely supplier payments
• Maintaining company-wide prompt payment targets

Profile

The successful Accounts Payable Manager:

• Will have a proven track record in a similar finance role.
• Comprehensive understanding of VAT and tax rules
• Understanding of accounting norms from general ledger, sub-ledgers and double entry
• Tactile Negotiator with great communication skills
• Enthusiastic self-starter
• Strong interpersonal skills who is able to deal with internal and external stakeholders
