Your Next Role
This is more than just your standard Finance Manager position.
This is a position where you will utilise your business partnering capability to its fullest potential to develop and maintain relationships with regional leaders.
Of course, we still want you to be able to deliver on monthly financial results, ensuring compliance with all statutory obligations, GST, income tax, budgets, and forecasts, and ensuring all compliance to policies and procedures; that's a given in a role of this importance.
However, in addition, you will have oversight of the financial operations of several projects across the region, and you will utilise your commercial skill set to provide financial modelling to enable crucial guidance on project feasibility, acquisitions, business proposals and debt reporting.
Your outstanding business partnering ability will allow you to liaise closely with Project owners and help them understand cash flow, cost management, and guide them through difficult decisions to ensure that they are proficient in understanding their project feasibility.
So, who are we looking for?
You'll be a qualified accountant (CA / CPA) with the commercial acumen to drive the business forward by developing relationships with key partners within the business. You'll understand the numbers, but your people management skills will be key to your success in this position. You are confident in nature so that you can present to board level but equally comfortable explaining finance requirements to non-finance people.
In addition, you will have an eye for processes and systems, and be capable of identifying and then implementing improvements ensuring that robust financial procedures and controls are maintained on project work.
