Bookkeeper

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a internationally renowned furniture business based out of their UK flagship store in Chelsea, South West London. The bookkeeper will be responsible for the day to running's of the finance team and compile financial reports for the UK Director.

My client are an internationally renowned furniture brand specialising in furniture, full interior design and joinery and work with some of the most prestigious hotels and businesses globally.

Description

The Bookkeeper will be responsible for the following:

• Check Purchase and Sales Ledger reports

• Weekly sales reports

• Month-end close

• VAT returns

• Monthly supplier statement analysis

• Bank Reconciliations

• Balance sheet reconciliations

• Management of deferred income

• Assisting in Year-end audit

• Overseeing Accounts payable and receivable processes

Profile

The successful Bookkeeper:

• Minimum 5 years experience in similar role

• AAT Qualified or actively studying

• Previous experience in construction, retail or similar industry

• Knowledge of VAT returns, international VAT and multi-currency payments

• Previous experience of CIS

• Italian speaking (desirable)

Job Offer

The successful candidate:

• Competitive salary of £35,000 - £40,000
