As a member of the Change Management and Implementation team, the incumbent will lead the execution of global as well as India hub specific initiatives at State Street. This role will require the individual to partner with the different business units and corporate stakeholders within India and across the globe, to carry out operating model changes, process optimization and technology enablement activities, and to drive adequate baselining of metrics and measurement of impact.
What you will be responsible for:
As an Officer – Change Management and Implementation you will: Partner with the business leads to create the execution plan to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the business processes and operating model.Collaborate with business SMEs to execute the changes at the business operating model and process level (spread across on- and off-shore), by breaking down business issues and translating them into detailed, manageable and implementable changes.Act as a liaison between the business and IT to scope out, assess feasibility and drive the digital transformation strategy, to include aspects of automation, AI and ML.Conduct baselining of key metrics corresponding to all the changes, by identifying the key parameters to be measured for each implementation and partnering with business to gather adequate data.Collaborate with business and technology leads to estimate the impact of the changes and to report the actual vs estimated benefits on a periodic basis.Develop materials required to support future state execution (eg: detailed process flow diagrams, job aids)Conduct core project management activities including facilitating meetings, interviewing stakeholders, hosting workshops, documenting findings, creating stakeholder presentationsManage, track and report on the progress of each initiative across functions to drive successful executionAssess, identify and mitigate the risk areas for each initiative and actively work on activities to report the risk to appropriate forums, escalate to management where required and drive actions for mitigation

Education & Preferred Qualifications: 8-12 years of experience in a Change Management or Transformation role leading implementation programs in consulting or financial services industry or in an Operations Management role driving transformation changes or continuous improvement programs within the teamBachelor’s Degree in Business/Finance/Accounting/Computer Science/Information Systems or other quantitative discipline (Master’s degree is a plus)Ability to build stakeholder connect, effective collaboration and partnership capabilities and ability to influence at all levels of the organizationVery strong organizational skills, ability to meet deadlines and proven experience in working with large cross functional teams will be a plusStrong sense of ownership and bias to action and decision makingStrong problem solving and critical thinking skills
