A well established business, with further exciting growth plans, are recruiting a Project Accountant to join their team.

Description

As a Project Accountant, you will be a commercially focused revenue accountant who works closely with a wide range of non-finance and financially experienced staff to achieve higher profit margins and stronger cash positions.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: working closely with the client services teams to monitor the progress of projects, investigate variances to budget, and ensure that billings are issued to customers in a timely and accurate manner. The role is responsible for leading the month end revenue recognition and forecasting process and for reporting on the performance of each agency, providing insight into project, account and agency profitability, and supporting commercial decision making across the group.

Profile

The successful candidate will:

- Have recent knowledge of working in a Project Accounting or Management Accounting role - Essential

- Have strong IT skills, particularly MS Excel - Essential

- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills - Essential

- Be studying towards ACCA/CIMA - Highly Beneficial
