Finance Administrator

The successful candidate will be working from home to begin with, there is a flexible return option to their Central Bristol office. On a daily basis the Finance Administrator would be undertaking tasks such as processing payments and invoices, reconciliation and providing assistance on ad-hoc projects.

Description

The key responsibilities of this Finance Administrator role include, but are not limited to:

• Processing daily and weekly payments and invoices; completing administrative tasks and liaising with suppliers where required.
• Processing commission payments to IFA's and answering queries relating to this process in a timely manner.
• Daily and monthly balance sheet reconciliations completed within the required timescales
• Assist with the daily cash management of the group
• Weekly processing of the Life and Pensions client payrolls, including payments, refunds and amendments
• Administration of the expense management system, this will include but is not limited to processing new starters , leavers, and credit card holders, answering queries, and amending profiles.
• Provide assistance for ad-hoc projects.
• Daily reconciliation of client money, demonstrating a clear knowledge and understanding of all relevant FCA client money legislation

Profile

The successful candidate would ideally have experience as a Finance Administrator or in a similar role and be AAT qualified with an understanding of core accountancy basics, AP Bank reconciliation with excellent excel skills with great attention to detail.
